CHART OF THE WEEK
Due to the war in Iran, we saw a spike in crude oil prices. Your intuition is probably that higher oil prices are bad for the stock market. Matt Cerminaro at Chart Kid Matt dug into the data when crude oil jumped more than 5% two days in a row. Historically, the stock market has shrugged this off. There is no resolution for the conflict in sight, but it’s good to know some of the background.
